1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Snagg, including the Snagg website, app, marketplace, review features, location pages, messaging tools, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use Snagg.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, account holders, contributors, and others who access or use Snagg.

2. Description of Snagg

Snagg is an independent community marketplace and local information platform designed to help users browse, post, review, and share practical information across nearby communities.

Snagg may include features such as:

  • marketplace listings;
  • local information pages;
  • reviews;
  • business or service listings;
  • community posts;
  • messaging;
  • reporting and moderation tools;
  • saved listings or saved content;
  • search, filtering, and location-based discovery.

Snagg may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Features, rules, limits, visibility systems, retention practices, moderation systems, and account requirements may change as the platform develops.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use Snagg unless Snagg explicitly allows otherwise.

By using Snagg, you represent and warrant that:

  • you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms;
  • your use of Snagg complies with applicable laws and regulations;
  • any information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • you will not use Snagg for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.

Snagg may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if a user appears ineligible or violates these Terms.

4. User Accounts

Some Snagg features may require an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • all activity that occurs under your account;
  • using an email account you control;
  • keeping your account information reasonably accurate;
  • not allowing others to misuse your account.

You must notify Snagg if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. Snagg may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create operational risk, create safety concerns, or appear fraudulent, abusive, automated, or otherwise suspicious.

Snagg may offer limited or no account recovery options if you lose access to the email address associated with your account.

5. Independent Platform

Snagg is an independent community platform. Snagg is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, operated by, or officially connected to any government agency, public authority, employer, school, contractor, organization, facility, or official representative unless explicitly stated by Snagg.

Snagg does not independently verify:

  • organizational affiliation;
  • employment status;
  • identity;
  • trustworthiness;
  • titles or official roles;
  • claims made by users.

Users are responsible for independently verifying claims made by other users. Nothing on Snagg should be treated as official government, legal, medical, financial, emergency, law-enforcement, employer, facility, or organizational communication.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Snagg to:

  • break the law;
  • commit fraud or scams;
  • harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse others;
  • post false, misleading, or deceptive content;
  • impersonate another person, organization, business, public authority, or official entity;
  • upload malicious code, malware, spam, or harmful files;
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or networks;
  • scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit Snagg except as permitted by law;
  • interfere with platform security, functionality, moderation, or availability;
  • evade bans, suspensions, rate limits, moderation systems, or platform safeguards;
  • violate the privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights of others;
  • use Snagg for coordinated manipulation, fake reviews, fake listings, spam, or automated abuse.

Snagg may investigate suspected violations and take action at its discretion, including content removal, listing restriction, account suspension, account termination, reporting to appropriate authorities, or other platform-protection measures.

7. User Content

Snagg may allow users to submit, post, upload, message, review, list, describe, share, or otherwise provide content, including text, images, usernames, marketplace listings, reviews, messages, comments, reports, business information, and other materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content to Snagg, you grant Snagg a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, reproduce, moderate, adapt, resize, optimize, distribute, and use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, improve, secure, moderate, and promote Snagg.

This license includes the ability to display listings, reviews, images, usernames, public posts, and other submitted content within Snagg and across Snagg-related surfaces.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you own your User Content or have permission to submit it;
  • your User Content does not violate applicable law;
  • your User Content does not violate the rights of others;
  • your User Content does not include prohibited, restricted, stolen, misleading, defamatory, or harmful material;
  • your User Content complies with these Terms and Snagg's policies.

Snagg is not responsible for User Content submitted by users. Snagg may remove, restrict, edit, demote, disable, archive, or moderate User Content at its discretion.

8. Public Visibility and User Responsibility

Users should assume that public content posted on Snagg may be viewed, copied, screenshotted, shared, archived, indexed, recorded, or redistributed by others outside Snagg. Users are solely responsible for the information they choose to post publicly or share with others.

Users may choose to remain pseudonymous, but users are responsible for avoiding posts, messages, images, or other content that reveal identifying, personal, operational, or sensitive information.

Users may not publicly post:

  • exact residential addresses;
  • personal phone numbers;
  • personal email addresses;
  • government identification documents;
  • passwords or credentials;
  • access details;
  • security procedures;
  • sensitive operational or restricted-facility details;
  • sensitive personal information of others without consent;
  • information that could create personal, legal, privacy, safety, or security risk.

Snagg communications and marketplace activity should not be considered secure, confidential, or appropriate for restricted, sensitive, emergency, legal, medical, or operational discussions.

9. Marketplace Listings and Transactions

Snagg may allow users to post, browse, search, and respond to marketplace listings. Snagg is not a party to transactions between users.

Snagg does not guarantee:

  • item quality;
  • item condition;
  • seller honesty;
  • buyer honesty;
  • listing accuracy;
  • product authenticity;
  • ownership;
  • payment legitimacy;
  • delivery;
  • legal transfer;
  • title status;
  • registration status;
  • inspection status;
  • import/export eligibility;
  • customs compliance;
  • transaction safety;
  • transaction outcome.

Users are solely responsible for independently verifying information before buying, selling, meeting, trading, shipping, sending money, accepting payment, transferring ownership, or interacting with others.

Snagg is not responsible for scams, fraud, counterfeit goods, non-delivery, payment disputes, unsafe interactions, title problems, inspections, ownership claims, import/export issues, customs issues, or transaction outcomes.

Snagg does not provide payment processing, escrow, buyer protection, seller protection, shipping protection, title verification, legal review, or dispute resolution unless explicitly stated otherwise.

10. Listing Visibility and Distribution

Eligible listings may appear across nearby communities, regions, facilities, or geographic areas based on visibility settings, radius logic, moderation decisions, platform configuration, or other internal distribution methods.

Snagg does not guarantee that any listing will appear in a specific location, community, search result, feed, ranking, placement, or region. Snagg does not guarantee listing visibility, placement, reach, engagement, buyer interest, seller interest, messages, responses, sales outcomes, review visibility, or search placement.

Snagg may modify listing visibility systems, radius logic, posting limits, image limits, listing duration, categories, monetization models, and platform distribution rules at any time.

11. Reviews and Community Content

Snagg may allow users to post reviews, ratings, comments, business information, local information, or community content. Reviews, comments, listings, usernames, business information, and community content are submitted by users.

Snagg does not endorse, verify, adopt, or guarantee the accuracy, fairness, legality, safety, completeness, or truthfulness of user-submitted reviews, ratings, claims, statements, listings, or community content.

Users are encouraged to keep reviews honest, constructive, relevant, specific, and reasonably tasteful. Reviews may not include nudity, excessive vulgarity, harassment, threats, doxing, personal contact information, private information, false claims, defamatory claims, spam, coordinated manipulation, hate speech, retaliatory abuse, unnecessary personal attacks, or content that violates these Terms.

Snagg generally does not remove reviews solely because they are negative, critical, or unfavorable. However, Snagg may remove, restrict, edit, demote, archive, disable, or moderate reviews or other content where Snagg believes the content may be false or misleading, fraudulent or manipulated, defamatory, harassing or threatening, doxing or privacy-invasive, unlawful, spam, abusive, unsafe, subject to legal complaint, creating legal, safety, operational, or platform-integrity risk, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.

Reviews may automatically expire, archive, become less visible, or be removed after a period of time as part of Snagg's retention and moderation approach. Snagg may use an approximate review retention period of one year, but exact retention behavior may change as the platform develops.

In some situations, reviews, comments, or discussions may be limited, disabled, hidden, or unavailable due to legal disputes, legal requests, investigations, court directives, safety concerns, or other legal or operational considerations.

12. Restricted and Prohibited Goods and Services

Users may not use Snagg to post, advertise, sell, transfer, distribute, request, or facilitate transactions involving prohibited, restricted, illegal, unsafe, or high-risk goods or services.

Prohibited content and transactions include, but are not limited to:

  • illegal goods or services;
  • stolen property;
  • counterfeit goods;
  • controlled substances;
  • recreational drugs;
  • drug paraphernalia;
  • prescription medications;
  • fraudulent documents;
  • government property not authorized for sale;
  • classified or restricted materials;
  • export-controlled items;
  • sanctioned goods or services;
  • issued or restricted equipment not authorized for resale;
  • weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, or fireworks;
  • restricted self-defense items;
  • hazardous materials;
  • malicious software;
  • surveillance tools intended for misuse;
  • adult sexual content or services;
  • human trafficking or exploitation;
  • live animal sales, breeding, or animal-transfer activity;
  • food sales, homemade food distribution, or regulated food activity;
  • fundraising, donation requests, raffles, or crowdfunding activity unless permitted by Snagg.

Users are solely responsible for complying with customs laws, export-control laws, sanctions rules, local laws, import/export restrictions, and applicable platform rules.

Community informational posts such as missing-item notices, found-property notices, or missing-pet alerts may be permitted at Snagg's discretion.

Snagg is not a law-enforcement, emergency-response, animal-control, crisis-response, or official reporting platform.

Snagg reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove, restrict, review, limit, demote, disable, investigate, or moderate listings, accounts, communities, messages, reviews, or content for safety, operational, legal, reputational, fraud-prevention, or platform-integrity reasons.

13. Image Uploads and Processing

Snagg may allow users to upload images. By uploading images to Snagg, you authorize Snagg to compress, resize, crop, optimize, transform, moderate, scan, store, display, remove metadata from, or otherwise process uploaded files for operational, storage, security, safety, moderation, or performance purposes.

Original uploaded files may not be permanently retained. Temporary, abandoned, incomplete, rejected, removed, or unused uploads may be automatically deleted without notice.

Users may not upload images that include:

  • sensitive safety information;
  • sensitive operational or security details;
  • illegal material;
  • stolen documents;
  • restricted material;
  • private information of others without consent;
  • personal identification documents;
  • payment cards;
  • passwords or credentials;
  • nudity or sexual content;
  • graphic violence;
  • harassing or abusive content;
  • content that violates these Terms.

Snagg may reject, remove, hide, compress, modify, or restrict uploaded images at its discretion.

14. Sensitive Content and Emergency Disclaimer

Users must not post sensitive safety information, restricted facility or access information, sensitive operational or security details, secure communications, or other information that could create operational, personal, legal, privacy, or security risk.

If a user, public authority, organization, law-enforcement agency, or authorized representative believes content on Snagg contains restricted, improperly disclosed, unlawful, or sensitive safety information, they may contact Snagg for review at admin@gosnagg.com. Submission of a request does not guarantee removal. Snagg may review and act on reports in its discretion.

Snagg is not an emergency service and must not be relied upon in emergencies, urgent safety situations, crimes in progress, medical emergencies, law-enforcement matters, or time-sensitive safety matters. For emergencies, contact appropriate emergency services, law enforcement, medical providers, or official authorities.

15. Privacy and Data Minimization

Your use of Snagg is also governed by Snagg's Privacy Policy.

Snagg is designed around minimizing unnecessary data collection and retention. Snagg does not currently plan to sell user data, build advertising profiles, operate a surveillance-based advertising platform, require identity documents, require official documents, or require users to provide real names, organization details, role details, or sensitive access information.

Private messages are intended to be temporary and may be automatically deleted after approximately 72 hours unless retention is required or extended for operational, security, abuse-prevention, moderation, legal, troubleshooting, or platform-integrity reasons.

Marketplace listings may automatically expire after approximately one week unless reposted by the user. Drafts, abandoned uploads, inactive content, expired listings, or temporary records may not be permanently retained.

Snagg does not actively monitor all private conversations. However, Snagg may investigate reports, abuse, fraud, scams, security issues, legal complaints, operational risks, or violations of these Terms.

Users should assume that messages, screenshots, photos of screens, copied text, public posts, or shared content may eventually become visible outside Snagg. No online platform can guarantee complete anonymity, confidentiality, security, or absolute privacy.

16. Moderation and Reporting

Snagg may provide tools for users to report listings, reviews, messages, profiles, or other content. Snagg may review reports and take action at its discretion.

Moderation actions may include:

  • no action;
  • warning;
  • content removal;
  • content restriction;
  • listing demotion;
  • listing expiration;
  • review removal;
  • message restriction;
  • account limitation;
  • account suspension;
  • account termination;
  • referral to appropriate authorities where necessary or legally required.

Snagg may use manual review, automated tools, keyword filters, image filters, fraud signals, user reports, internal rules, or other moderation systems. Moderation systems may not be perfect and may produce false positives or false negatives.

Snagg may temporarily hide, restrict, or remove content that is reported, flagged, or suspected of violating platform rules while it is reviewed. Snagg may prioritize reports involving scams, sensitive safety information, doxing, harassment, threats, illegal content, privacy violations, or safety risks.

As a small independent platform, response times for reports, support requests, moderation requests, or account concerns may vary. Snagg may rely on volunteer, community, or contracted moderators to help review reports, remove harmful content, and maintain platform quality.

Moderation decisions are made at Snagg's discretion and may not always be immediate, perfect, or appealable.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

Snagg may contain links to third-party websites, apps, APIs, services, tools, businesses, organizations, maps, payment providers, analytics providers, hosting providers, authentication providers, or other external resources.

Snagg does not control, endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for third-party services. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and the third party. You access third-party services at your own risk.

Snagg is not responsible for third-party:

  • policies;
  • products;
  • services;
  • transactions;
  • failures;
  • errors;
  • losses.

18. AI, Automation, and Platform Suggestions

Snagg may use automated systems, rule-based tools, filters, ranking logic, recommendations, or AI-assisted features to help operate the platform.

These systems may be used for:

  • search;
  • recommendations;
  • spam detection;
  • scam detection;
  • content moderation;
  • image review;
  • keyword filtering;
  • duplicate detection;
  • listing ranking;
  • safety checks;
  • platform integrity.

Automated systems may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, overly restrictive, or under-inclusive. Snagg does not guarantee that automated outputs, suggestions, rankings, filters, or recommendations are accurate, complete, safe, reliable, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Users are responsible for independently verifying important information. Snagg is not a substitute for professional judgment, legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, safety advice, official guidance, or appropriate authority direction.

19. No Professional Advice

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Snagg does not provide:

  • engineering advice;
  • compliance advice;
  • professional consulting services.

Information provided through Snagg is for general informational purposes only. Users should consult qualified professionals, official sources, or appropriate authorities before making decisions based on information found on Snagg.

20. Availability and Platform Changes

Snagg does not guarantee that the platform will:

  • be uninterrupted;

  • be secure;
  • be continuously available;
  • meet user expectations;
  • preserve all content;
  • preserve all messages;
  • preserve all listings;

Downtime, bugs, delays, outages, data loss, moderation errors, technical failures, third-party failures, or interruptions may occur. Snagg may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

Snagg may change listing limits, image limits, free-tier limits, paid-tier limits, visibility rules, review rules, retention periods, account requirements, moderation policies, marketplace categories, search behavior, monetization models, geographic coverage, app features, or website features.

Snagg is not liable for losses caused by platform changes, outages, bugs, interruptions, feature removals, visibility changes, moderation decisions, or discontinued services to the maximum extent permitted by law.

21. Beta and Experimental Features

Some Snagg features may be marked, treated, or understood as alpha, beta, preview, experimental, or early-stage features.

These features may:

  • contain bugs;
  • change without notice;
  • be discontinued;
  • produce inaccurate results;
  • behave unexpectedly;
  • have limited support;
  • have limited availability;
  • use temporary data-retention behavior.

Use of beta or experimental features is at your own risk.

22. Intellectual Property

Snagg, including its software, design, branding, logos, graphics, interfaces, text, layout, features, and related materials, is owned by Snagg or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by Snagg, users may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, reproduce, exploit, or create derivative works from Snagg or its materials.

Users may not use Snagg branding, logos, names, or marks in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or official connection without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snagg is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
